I work with parents like you
those looking to:
- Improve communication or family dynamics.
- Help a family member get back on track.
- Repair stressed or damaged relationships.
- Develop and maintain strategies for sustainable growth.
- Achieve mutual goals.
You’re not alone. While each family is unique, today’s world impacts just about everyone.
The struggle in your family is not your fault; you just need ongoing support in understanding what to do in moments of challenge.
If your family is struggling despite serious wins, it’s not because you’re doing it wrong.
I’ll tailor a coaching plan to your family’s needs whether it’s weekly, bi-weekly, or as-needed Real-Time Support. Together, we will explore your unique family dynamics and develop an action plan that suits your goals.
Parent Coaching
While my 25+ years as a PHD-level clinician have allowed me to engage in meaningful work with adolescents and families, I wanted to expand on the many benefits of traditional therapy modalities.

When an adolescent or young adult feels stuck, burned out, avoidant, shameful, or unable to live their values, or has failed to launch, coaching helps them to recalibrate their thoughts and establish routines that promote growth towards their goals.
In my 25+ years as a school psychologist, I have guided countless adolescents through challenges including academic struggles, mental and physical health challenges, gender identity transitions, neurodivergence, the college application process, and substance use disorders.
Family Coaching
Many of today’s normative life experiences can stress a family system and cause relationships to break down, sometimes with lasting or even permanent damage. During times of transition or stress, one negative interaction can have a ripple effect through every member of the family.

Coaching allows for engagement that is authentic, direct, and productive. As a coach, I am able to share my own relatable experiences which engenders a deeper connection with my clients. My compassion is rooted in my own lived experience. When your child is not thriving, and you need timely, effective advice to respond in the most beneficial ways, coaching is for you.
Adolescent Coaching
Teens need direct support to understand their own needs and behavior when their brains are rapidly developing. I provide compassionate wisdom and guidance to help teens create real change and turn their insight into sustained action. Sometimes adolescents are not able to hear advice from their parents, and that’s when working with an adolescent coach is invaluable.

Family coaching enables me to help each family member understand their contributions and needs so they can communicate effectively. Through individual and group work, we are able to identify common language and mutual goals together, and create accountability to ensure their progress.
I provide objective and individualized attention to each member of your family in order to facilitate a healthier family system. I’m passionate about helping families navigate normative challenges and crises to improve their connection and shared goals. My professional understanding and my lived experience as a mother allows me to compassionately support families and their shared goals.
